Historical and grand Victorian architecture designed to showcase timeless craftsmanship of handmade jewellery.

Description

The Rox occupies a charming ground-floor space within the renowned Strand Arcade in Sydney, a historic landmark. This small, once-worn shop was reimagined to reflect the elegance of Victorian architecture, while also serving as a refined showcase for exquisite handmade jewellery collections. The original structure was preserved in accordance with heritage regulations, with custom cabinetry and fittings carefully anchored rather than affixed to the walls, ensuring the integrity of the building and its timber flooring remains intact. The window display cabinets are housed behind a lockable glass panel and mounted on wheels, allowing for easy reconfiguration and maintenance. The jewellery is beautifully displayed, visible both from within the store and the gallery outside. Finishes such as marble countertops, brass panels, bespoke hardware, and pendant lighting are as meticulously crafted and precious as the jewellery they showcase.
